The World Health Organization says: “Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” This means that the goal of health should not only be getting rid of pain or physical symptoms but should include how you feel emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
It also means that sometimes, you may have to live with a disease for your life or for long periods of time. Does this mean that you can’t be well? No, it does not.
