Last week, my son had his first day at school as he started kindergarten.
It was probably just as stressful for me to watch him, as it was for him to go.
We dropped him off at the fence with his teacher, my brave little guy turned around and waved goodbye.
How does one prepare for this moment as a parent? How does a child grow up so fast?
I picked him up after school and he did great. He said he wasn't sad all day. He did get angry when he had to stop playing with the toys to eat. This made me laugh.
He made it through his first day at school, and so did I.
September is a great time to start something new.
After all, it's already ingrained in your nervous system that school starts, there's a new routine, and the weather begins to shift.
Is there something that you've been holding off on that you've wanted to try?
I know I've got to recommit to exercising again.
Let me know in the comments below what your "first day" of a new routine will be.
