Last night, my newborn baby was having an unusually hard time falling asleep. After trying every trick I knew and then some, I was at my wit’s end with the crying. I found myself frustrated, tired and wanting to run away. Just when I had reached my breaking point, the little angel fell asleep. What lessons did I learn?

Love that you got so much from that experience! Love that you can find the time to think and write even with two children! Congrats on your new Angel!

As I’m reading this, ‘When It Don’t Come Easy’ by Patty Griffith is playing haphazardly on Spotify. All perfect as I’m feeling overwhelmed by self-employed single motherhood, the time and cost associated with my daughter’s upcoming competitive dance season, my son’s last year at home and an ache to have time for my ‘own’ life, stuff or goals.
