Many people, including myself, have trouble forgiving. We replay old experiences and stories in our minds over and over agian. This is similar to watching a bad movie over and over agian.
What if there was another way?
I invite you to replace "forgive" with "release."
This means instead of forgiving someone, you release them.
You release them from your life so that they no longer have a hold of you.
There is alot of energy bound up in the body when we hold on to something. Instead, free that energy so that you can use it for healing, love and connection, helping others, pursuing your purpose, etc.
Instead of asking yourself "how do I forgive them?"
Ask instead, "how do I release them?"
Try saying those two questions in your head. Notice how these have different responses in your body.
Remember, you cannot control everything that happens to you but you can decide how you respond to your circumstances.
